A Building Management System (BMS) is a computer system installed in a building that will communicate with the building's equipment.
Allowing its owner to monitor and control its installations, such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation, lighting, or energy supply systems (electricity, gas, solar panels, etc.)
The term building automation system (BAS) is sometimes used to refer to BMS. The term refers to home automation applied to condominiums, tertiary buildings, and public buildings.
