Access Control
The electronic access control system is the primary foundation for most integrated security systems. At Genesis, we utilize the access control solutions of Software House’s CCURE 800 and 9000 platforms. As one of their largest dealers in North America, we fully understand how to integrate their systems into either your local or wide-area network. We are also are fully experienced in the planning, implementation and post-installation support of their redundant (hot and warm) solutions as well as integration with other modules such as Photo-ID, CCTV, Digital Video Recorder (NetVue), Zenitel and Open Directory. As a certified Enterprise Partner of Software House systems, we have the right technical staff to properly support your Software House system in a quick and efficient manner.
Genesis Security Systems is an OEM for the major providers of proximity card readers from HID, Indala and Pyramid. We are also an Advantage Channel Partner for HID.
Genesis is also at the leading edge of new access control technologies including biometrics, smart card technology and optical barrier turnstiles.

Closed Circuit Television
CCTV technology is no longer a simple process of installing a camera and plugging it into a video recorder. Today’s camera systems are evolving into true network appliances, containing many different types of devices that need to fully integrate with each other as well as with other systems. At Genesis Security Systems, we take the time to design these different components into a system that will meet your specific requirements for both IT and available illumination as well as integration with your access control system. Our systems normally include: speed domes, LCD display systems, matrix control systems, fiber optics and digital video storage and management systems.
We offer both digital IP and analog CCTV solutions integrated with Network and/or Digital Video Recorders. The newer IP solutions have the ability to provide you and your organization with a virtual matrix for camera recall as well as high-resolution megapixel forensic information from any location you have a network connection. As CCTV technology migrates over to IP solutions over the next several years, our technical team at Genesis will be leading the way with the best practical solutions based on real-world applications, reliability and economics.

Intrusion Detection and Alarms (UL2050)
Genesis Security Systems provides a broad array of high-security intrusion detection systems, including those that meet the requirements of UL2050, DCID 6/9 and NISPOM. Listed under UL2050, Genesis is able to issue certificates to Department of Defense contractors that must meet high-security intrusion detection requirements. For some applications, we use alarm panels that include 128-bit encryption technology for transmission to our UL-Listed central monitoring center. For other clients, we integrate these secured areas into the Software House CCURE platform, which will meet UL2050 requirements. In both cases, we comply with DCID and NIST regulations. In addition, we are able to provide remote monitoring to a UL-Listed central monitoring center that uses cleared personnel.

Intercom and Emergency Communication
The intercom and emergency communication systems is a vital part of any integrated security system. Genesis Security Systems deploys customized solutions depending upon the specific security needs of our client, often integrating with the client’s existing telecommunications network.

Command and Control Consoles
Genesis Security Systems develops common-sense easy-to-use plans to ensure success with your customized system. We integrate these different technologies into ergonomically designed command and control consoles that are easy to use as well as enables one operator/guard to monitor an entire complex, automating security functions. In most of our larger systems, all major electronic components that are not used on a daily basis by the client are installed in vertical racks. These are properly ventilated with fans and HVAC systems.
For those areas where there is a continual guard interface, the change in video display technology has prompted a change in how we design and deploy consoles. With the advent of LCD flat screens, consoles no longer have to be big, bulky and unsightly. We now deploy consoles that are designed to accept LCD display monitors, making the system easier to use as well as conserving precious space. This sometimes includes the use of interactive video walls for our clients.
